The 2013 Northern Kentucky Softball Coaches Association JV Tourney will be held this Friday and Saturday at Conner and Cooper High Schools.

Double Elimination tourney. Gate admission - $5 for Adults, $3 for Students & Seniors or Tourney Pass for $8.

Top Bracket

Beechwood vs Villa (5-11 8:30 @ Cooper)

Conner vs Notre Dame (5-10 4:30 @ Conner) winner plays NewCath @ 5:45 at Conner.

Bottom Bracket

Brossart vs Highlands (5-10 5:45 @ Cooper) winner plays Cooper @ 7:00 at Cooper

Ludlow vs Holy Cross (5-10 4:30 @ Cooper) winner plays Campbell Co. @ 7:00 at Conner.

If I can figure how to get a pdf file on here I will put up all the info and brackets. I'm an expert at copy and paste, but this is out of my league.

Unfortunately Mother Nature as canceled the tourney for good, it will not be made up. :(

I think this is the 3rd year in a row that these young ladies have been denied the opportunity to showcase their talents in this tournament setting. :banghead:

Maybe this tourney should be held at places that have tarps and what not. Games are being played to day at St Henry. To me it's totally unfair that these JV teams do not play enough games, have the time they get 2 or 3 innings in after a varsity game.

Agreed! I have also said for those schools who have lights they should ALWAYS play 7 innings unless the run rule comes into play. Why are JV teams always considered 2nd fiddle when it comes to playing time. Yes I understand varsity is the priority but the JV kids are the ones who will be playing varsity in the upcoming years and I just think they need game time as much as varsity does.

My field is open all day tomorrow (i know its mothers day)

Agree with this post 100%, however some of these teams don't give a :poop: about their JV teams.

Most schools don't have the numbers to do this but I would love to NKY teams do what most OH teams do and that is have the Varsity play at one of the schools and the JV at the other.
