Walks and errors doom Dixie tonight. Got there late, so I'm not sure how Dixie got their 3 early. Niehaus appeared to tire and began to struggle with his control. IMO he was left in quite a bit too long and St Henry rattles off 6 over the 4th and 5th due mainly too the aforementioned walks and errors.

LaCorte started for St H. Struggled with control. Perhaps nervous as he used to play for Dixie and was trying too hard.?? Struggled with the 0-2 count.

 

St H brought in Kuebbing in the 4th. Kuebbing had been hurt for 3 weeks prior to this game. Looked very strong! Shut Dixie down at the plate which surprised me as Dixie is a good team, plus Kuebbing hadn't been on the mound since he has been hurt. Kid is impressive! Curve ball is crazy He actually turned one kid completely around.

 

Dixie pitching and errors I didn't expect. I know they are a stronger team than that. Perhaps an off night. It happens.

 

Glad to see St H rebound from their injuries. Kids have heart and apparently love the game given their intensity.
