Conner pitching continues to be the story. Brady Smiley goes 5 strong shutout winnings to get the win. Brady Padgett seals the win with 2 shutout innings. Blake Hart hit a solo HR. No Fogle (hamstring) or Maines (suspension) for Conner. Blake Tibieri goes 3-4. Sweeeeeeet swing.

There are not alot of HS kids I would stop what I was doing to sit down and enjoy watching them hit. Blake Tieberi is one.

Incidentally, Conner is on a 4 game winning streak.

Impressive pitching performance. I was talking to a local high school coach who raved about HC's ability to put the bat on the ball 1 through 9.

HC did put the bat on the ball as they had 8 hits with Tiberi getting three and Callery having one.

One of the hits was off the bat of Kincaid, whose speed got him the hit, as he beat out a routine ground ball (6-3) with just a slap swing and speed down the base paths, but they did leave 8 men on the bases.

Really Clyde, you should come to a game from time to time!

I used to have time. Not so much anymore. It's the rare treat now.

Good to see my friend TOG there yesterday all decked out in his CCH gear. :thumb:
