Are there any fast-pitch feeder programs in NKY?

I have two nine year olds that are crushed to know that Newport has discontinued its ponytail slow pitch league. I was hoping to keep them interested by finding a fast-pitch feeder team near Fort Thomas. Anyone out there have ideas?

This does not surprise me in the least bit! 8 years ago I tried so damn hard to get them to switch to fast-pitch, did this for 3 years in a row, however everything I said fell on deaf ears. When I started out coaching my oldest in this league 12 years ago it was a very nice and thriving league. You had teams from Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, & Ft. Thomas playing in this league. When I saw the "writing on the wall" (emergence of fast-pitch) I pushed for it and then I bolted with daughter in tow, yet still tried to get them to switch. I knew slow-pitch was not going to prepare these kids for when they got to high school. The reasoning was lame to say the least......parents won't go for it, fast-pitch will scare the kids, would be enough interest.......it went on and on.
