Was this a night game? If so, I wasn't aware that Highland Park had lights. Pretty cool atmosphere if it did! I really like the work Coach Baioni (sp?) and his guys have done to that field. Well at least I thought I had been told the city is no longer maintaining the field. Personally I like that baseball people take care of baseball fields instead of someone who could care less what the field looks like as long as the grass is cut and the field has been dragged i.e. Cordero Field, Central park, etc.

5:00 PM game. No lights. Seemed like "night" since there was no school.

 

Field is in great shape. Coach Baioni, HHS and the City of Fort Thomas have a great working relationship that has been cultivated via hard work and trust on all sides. City is working hard to complete a storage shed down the 1B line that will help with the field maintenance.
