This was one of the best games last night, two very sound fundamental teams. Congrats to CAL on the tourney title, very well coached team. Also a tip of the cap to Knoch, Pa., this team from "steeltown" flatout out "crushed" the ball all tourney. Still can't believe that a couple of their girls actually played with NOTHING under their sleeveless uni's once the sun went down, it was brutal cold. Of course these were the same girls that went deep multiply times during the tourney.

 

Much praise to Robbie Dixon and the crew at Softball City, as well as, Brossart Head Coach Tom Baynum and Tourney Organizer Mel Webster for putting together one hell of a tourney. :ylsuper:

Lawnboy, I saw some scores on here and they looked like like close competitive games. Didn't see some of the scores of other local teams. How did the local teams do in this tournament? Any team stand out or does it seem like the competition is pretty even?

Is there anywhere we can see a list of all the scores?

 

Congrats to CAL, at least we had a KY team win it. I didn't get to see either one of these teams play much but it sounds like they were clearly the best two teams.

I agree 2 best teams played for the championship. I thought Conner had a chance to slow down the hitting of Knoch but that wasnt the case. Alot of good games and a shout ot to Coach Baynum & AD Mel Webster for putting on a very competive tourney. Very well ran, It was great to see all the teams out and playing.
