It is double point weekend. It's also World Championship weekend. I believe there's a way to watch the matches live. If you haven't seen some of the major league gamers play, take some time to check it out. They're just unbelievably good. I consider myself to be a decent player and I have some online friends who are really good, but if I put a team together of my best players we wouldn't hold a candle to these MLG guys. It would be like a college all american basketball player going one on one with a high school freshmen.

NamecipS is one of the best CoD players I have ever seen or played with so if he says he can't hold a candle to these guys then they must be sick.

I just watched the Winter Championships Final Round and have to say these guys are insane good. The things they see and do are crazy. Listening to the callouts they make and the communication they have is part of what makes them so good.

 

It would be awesome to 1)be able to play as much as they do, 2) get a very good group together and work on strategies and then execute those strategies and 3) make a living playing video games all the time.

 

For those of us who play the public matches, I noticed the pro's do something a lot different than the pub guys. A lot of players drop-shot, the pro's are jumping instead of drop shotting. I don't do either, but I might start jumping. Although I personally think jumping is stupid, I kill the jumpers a lot more and easily than I do the drop shotters.

I tried it in MW3 and was using the tactical layout when I got one of my MOABs, but I didn't like. Of course, I probably didn't do it long enough to really get use to it.

Same here. I've watched some drop shot videos and I want to go home and try them.

Now I remember why I don't really like this game. I get so tired of getting in the pub matches and get shot in the back.

 

I ran with a full party and it just wasn't a good night. I had a good game to end the night(23-8), but otherwise an uneventful unfullfilling night.

Good. I didn't get to play as much as I wanted. Sorry I bailed on you yesterday. The dog took a dump on the floor. LOL. Had to clean it up before it stunk up the whole house.
