How do the Cougars look this year?

Anyone that knows baseball in NKY knows that Arlo is one of the best coaches in NKY. He will have his team ready come playoff time, guarantee it. Lots of talent on this team.

Conner is always good. With a slugger like Fogle and a great all around player who can hit for average like Padgett and their pitching, they are always in it. When a power hitter like D. Baker is held to play on the JV team you know they have a lot of talent.

Watch out for sophomore Blaise Ostertag. He has a rocket arm and lots of speed.

Conner is very talented this year. They have good pitching with Maines, Smiley, and a few others. They will be a good hitting ball club.

Maines is a pretty good pitcher if his emotions dont get the best of him. Jared Williams is solid at SS and an underrated hitter. Fogel is just an all around athlete. Look for them to be one of the top teams in the region.

Did Austin Brake come back this year or is he not playing his senior year?

The Austin Brake comeback is in full swoon!

Saw Williams the other day. Looks like he has added about 15 lbs of muscle. Expect a big year from him at the plate.

Love Arlo's demeanor on the field and in the dugout. IMO that's the way you need to approach baseball. Different animal than football or hoops.

So what exactely does that mean?

Just that Brake did tryout and is subsequentially on the team this year. Should help provide some pop in the lineup and depth at 1B.

Good! Glad he came back for his senior year. My boy played on his dad's Dragons team with Austin and Brady for years, wanted them all to play on the same field one last time.

Also Brady Smiley and Dustin Herrmann are on Conner's team from the Dragons. Hunter Gillispie was also on the team last year but decided not to play his Senior year.
