Schedule (at Frankfort Civic Center)

 

Monday – Woodford County (14-14) vs. Western Hills (5-24) … Woodford comes into district play with 5 consecutive defeats, but that is mainly due to injuries to starters Eli Boggess and Landen Young. Boggess, the team’s leading scorer, is expected back for the district, although the Yellowjackets should be able to handle Western Hills either way. Woodford was undefeated in regular season district action, while the Wolverines were winless in district play. Woodford easily won both regular season meetings.

 

Tuesday – Franklin County (8-15) vs. Frankfort (7-20) … Frankfort comes into the game losing 18 of 20, which coinciding with senior Aaron Jackson quitting the team. Franklin County has lost 7 of 9, but still comes in as the favorite in this one led by junior Rylan Rowe (17 points a game). Franklin County swept the regular season series.
