With three CovCath starters out with either injures or sickness, the young Colonels still win a close and hard fought game vs. the same Cooper Frosh with whom the Colonels will play on Saturday in the 1st round of the Freshmen Regional Tourney.

CovCath Frosh with the victory ends their regular season on a great note with an 18-8 record and next plays Cooper in the 1st round of the Freshmen Regional Tournament at Covington Catholic on Saturday Feb 2nd with the tip-off coming at 1:45pm.

I assume Hepp was 1 of the 3?

Young Will was sat to rest his knees, Sweeney out with a sore Elbow from the game earlier in the week and Young Flu!

All three should be able to play on Saturday.

That is a lot to have out. Nice win for the Colonels.

It was a good game to watch, but I was a little disappointed in the officials. Colonels shot 20+ free throws and missed maybe one or two. Jaguars shot about 14 free throws and made maybe 5 of them if that many. Game was won at the line by Cov Cath. Both teams have some pretty skilled players and look forward to watching them play as they grow.
