Final in the 8th A.

Walton wins their 1st round game in the 8th Region All A. It wasn't pretty but it was a win. They move on to play Carroll County on Friday.

Can the mod change the title. It was 57-48

I wasn't there, but it certainly must have been quite different than the game in Bedford just a few weeks ago.

Walton-Verona had a 12 point lead on a couple of occasions before Trimble cut it to 2 points with 47.2 seconds to go. Kyle Dougherty's FT with 30.3 to go put the game out of reach as the Bearcats move on to take on Carroll County @ 7:30 on Friday. Trimble's defense came alive in the second half. Lucas with 3 of the last 4 points in FT's.

He did play limited minutes. No scoring though. I believe he was averaging 7-8 per game. I don't think Helton player either.
