7-5 PCC with 3:58 left in Q1. Looks like this one is going to be tight most of the way. Justice (KCC) and Johnson & Cornett (PCC) are off to good starts. Simon Christian with one foul early.

Beverley lay-in puts PCC up 13-7, KCC timeout. 1:01 left in Q1.

13-9 (PCC) at the end of Q1.

14-13 KCC lead off a Christian 3. Timeout PCC with 5:36 left in Q2.

 

PCC has been in a zone that they've extended out most of the game so far.

 

Refs seem to be letting them play, especially underneath.

And as soon as I say that, back-to-back charges and a call on Cornett, his second. Christian also with 2 fouls. Definitely something to keep an eye on as the game goes.

Score still 14-13 KCC with 3:00 left to play before the half.

18-13 KCC, their penetration is starting to hurt PCC. 2:24 left in Q2.

20-19 KCC at the half. PCC went on a mini-run to close the gap, but Hall had a basket to give KCC the lead back. KCC and PCC each ended the half with substitutions to steal some minutes.

Beverley makes a pull up from 12 to push PCC's lead to 26-21. KCC's Hall draws a foul on PCC's Dalton Cornett, who goes to the bench with his 3rd. KCC has missed 5 consecutive FT's.
