Winton Woods / Covington Catholic Prediction

Featured Replies

CovCath host Cincinnati.com week #2 #9 Winton Woods at CovCath on Friday Dec. 21.

The Colonels lost last year at Winton Woods and are looking forward to returning the favor this season.

Personally, I am looking forward to this game as Covington Catholic is honoring it's 1968 Ninth Region Champion Basketball Team this night and I am looking very forward to seeing some of my teammates and classmates.

This team was led by Randy Noll (UK/Marshall), Jimmy Cooper, Joe Voskhul (Tulsa) John Vonlehman (UD) and Ron Droege plus a strong bench of players and outstanding coaches led by legendary Mote Hills and Hep Cronin!

This was the second of five straight Coach Mote Hills CovCath teams to win the Ninth Region but we lost to eventual State Champion Glasgow that year, in their closest game they played in the Sweet Sixteen.

This was a fun game to watch last year.

WW had a 6'8 kid going to Akron plus 2 or 3 others getting D1 looks.

And they're only #9 in Cincinnati?
