14th Region tipped-off this past week with a few good games while others were just complete blowouts.

Player of the Week

Estill County's Brandon Morris, Powell County's Trey Marcum, Dalton Cornett, Lee County's Tyler Evans. After going over everything, I have to say it goes to Estill County's Brandon Morris. Brandon had 22 pts, 15 Rebs, 5 asst plus several blocked shots in the Engineers win at Lee County. First time the Engineers have defeated the Bobcats on their home court since 2002.

Injury Bug

Estill County's Trevor Jones (ACL Out for Season), Josiah Muncie (ACL - Unsure as of now, won't know til December 17th), Colby Baber (Suffered concussion against Lee County, out a week)

Game of the Week.

Estill County 71, Lee County 66. This game felt like it was for the district championship. First half it went back and forth, after 3 quarters Estill lead by 11 points, Lee County got to within a point but couldn't grab the lead. With 3 seconds left, SR Forward Brandon Morris hit 2 crucial free throws to give Estill County a 71-66 lead which would be the final score. Brandon was also 1-1 from 3 point range and that came in the 3rd quarter.
