I have to say I was expecting Holmes to win this by a bigger margin. Newport was a surprise. Very physical and athletic. Bench was not deep and it showed when they got into foul trouble. Holmes seemed to have a bad night shooting. They missed some easy shots and threes didn't seem to fall easily. I don't have any stats though, just memory.

 

Overall, it was a fun game to watch.
