What is the national record for most consecutive state championships?

Featured Replies

I googled for a while and couldn't find a definitive record. Saw where a team in North Carolina won 7 in a row.

Anyone?

Thanks.

DeLasalle won 151 games in a row. I'm not sure how many state championships that would cover.

I may be wrong, but I think California did not have state title games during DLS's amazing win streak.

For what it's worth, I know that HHS' current streak of 5 titles is tied for second nationally in terms of current consecutive title streaks.

The following link is to the National Federation of High School Associations football records book. If you go to home page of this site you view every sports record book. I made the mistake one evening and was on the site for over 2 hours viewing. Although I will say it was neat to see some of the names on many of these record holders. Enjoy.......http://www.nfhs.org/recordbook/Records.aspx?CategoryId=1
