Mack The Knife Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Senior Justin Davis hit a driving layup through traffic with 1.3 seconds remaining to lift the Wildcats to the comeback victory. Gallatin trailed 51-47 when freshmen Jared Carlton scored with 40 seconds left to make it 51-49. After a Cougar turnover Davis connected on a 3 from the corner to give the Cats a 52-51 lead. Central hit 1 FT to tie at 52 and set up Davis' heroics. Gallatin was led by junior forward Cody Perkins' 19 points. Davis added 13 and Carlton had 11 with most coming in the 4th quarter. Gallatin now stands at 11-5 heading into next week's All A Regional at Williamstown.
