Ludlow Panthers rolled over the Bellevue Tigers with a very well balanced performance tonight in Ludlow. The Panthers were led by Dan Penick with 15 pts and 14 reb. Someone who has quietly put together a very nice season for the Panthers is Justin Hardin. Tonight he had 12 pts and 12 rebs. and all year long he has been scoring in the 12-14 point range and pulling down 8-10 rebounds per game. Very good kid who plays hard for the Panthers. Chris Poe had 12 points and Chase King had 13 points to help the Panthers to victory. Sophmore Jared Rouse chipped in with 7 points as well for a very balanced effort by the Panthers.

I really like the way that Dan plays. He is very talented and unselfish with the ball. I can see him playing at a mid-major D-1 and being a great contributor because he plays well on the perimeter for a big man. His court presence and demeanor were outstanding the night I saw him play.

I agree with your asessment of Dans skills. He played an excellent game on Saturday at Ryle with 19 points and 19 rebounds in a tough loss 60-59 but an exciting game to watch. The thing that most impresses me about Dan right now is as you said his presence and demeanor. Has matured a great deal and has taken on the roll of leader for the Panthers. A mid-major Div 1 is exactly where he will be going. :thumb:
