Congrats to the NewCath Boys (7-9-5) who play Boone County (17-3-3) Friday at St. Henry at 7:30. The Breds and Rebels tied earlier in the season.

 

Congrats to the Lady Breds (14-5-1) who will take on Notre Dame (21-2-1) on Saturday at Ryle at 3:00. Notre Dame beat the Lady Breds 3-1 earlier in the season. The Lady Breds other 4 losses were all by 1.

I haven't followed soccer as much, but is NKY just one big giant region now? Did they stop having the state subsectional? I ask because Boone won the region in 2002 and then faced NCC in what was considered the "State Subsectional", which they lost 1-0. NCC hits the post and scores, Boone hits the crossbar and doesn't.

 

I think I'm heading to the game tonight.
