Final from the first semifinal at the WYMT Mountain Classic at Knott Central High

Great win for the Dragons. Glad to see their success continue.

Game was delayed for about 1 1/2 hours when the power went out late in the 1st quarter with Harlan up 11-6.

 

Phelps put together an 8-0 run with Ryan Clem out of the game with foul trouble, pulling ahead. But Harlan righted the ship when Clem checked back in, and they knocked down their free throws down the stretch to hold off the scrappy Hornets and advance to Saturday's WYMT championship game, where they face Leslie Co. Phelps will play North Laurel in the third place game.

Hats off to the Phelps crowd, who traveled very, very well for this game. Hope they show up Saturday.

This was a good game to watch it was a running game up and down the floor all night.

the phelps hornets played hard and had a good game. harlan has a good team and this was a great experience for a small school to play in such a great tournament.
