Final from Ballard. Competitive game till 5 and 6 inning till Walton commits 9 errors and Ballard takes advantage as all good teams do. Mental mistakes continue to haunt them.

Not very often that this happens to a Walton team.

Yep but that is the difference between this years team and last years team. This team is capable of beating anyone in the state but it is capable of losing to just about anyone in the state.

I can just imagine seeing Coach Anderson "blowing a gasket" with that many errors or did he just accept the fact that it was just one of those games?

Ahhhh, no....

But why is there such a difference from last years team defensively to this years team? They only lost one player to graduation and they played pretty solid defense last year and was pretty consistent defensively. Why not this year?

Mental purely mental. This team plays to its potenial and they will make a good run at state. They don't fix the mental side they may be out very early.

That is very realistic if they don't get it together.

Just surprises me with all the experience they have and as well coached as they are. Good luck in the districts and regional tournaments, and hopefully state.
