Derby Classic roster changes

kdfrosters.jpgThe Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic, presented by papajohns.com, will be played on Friday night in Freedom Hall.

The players will report to Louisville on Wednesday and the Horseshoe Foundation Night of the Future Stars will be on Thursday at New Albany High School.

There are a few changes to the rosters. The White team roster includes Louisville signee Terry Rozier and Indiana signees Jeremy Hollowell, Ron Patterson and Hanner Perea.

Also now on the White team is Trinity High School standout Nathan Dieudonne, who has signed with Boston University. He replaced Houston signee Danuel House.

Three players originally named to the Black team won’t make it: Georgetown signee D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, San Diego State signee Winston Shepherd and undecided top forward Devonta Pollard.

The players added to the Black team are Moore’s Mekale McKay, who has signed to play football at Arkansas, Houston signee Chicken Knowles and Notre Dame signee Cameron Biedscheid.

I would like to have seen at least the Cauley kid or a Kentucky recruit on this team.

Is that guy's name really Chicken?
