Walton-Verona 2012

Featured Replies

What does Walton-Verona need to do to improve in 2012? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

They should be pretty soild up front but they lost their whole back field. If they can replace the back field then they will be a big threat in the 2a football! Up front they are returning Evan Kuhnell, Cole Moiser, Jon Perdue, David Carr and Keith Graue. The back field is returning Corey Bennett, Chris "Mac" Latimore his little brother Will Latimore, Tyler Corneilson and Logan Foley.

Agreed. They should be solid up front and the backfield did get playing time last year. Will be interesting to see who will be at Qb.

Walton-Verona will have to retool after losing their backfield. They should be solid up front, and I would expect #16 & #39 to fill in well in the backfield, both got several carries last year. #71 Mosier should anchor the O-line and D-Line. Not sure who will be taking over the QB spot, which is always a concern, but I am sure someone will rise up and take the reigns. I know they tinkered with the shot-gun last year, anxious to see if they stay under center or go to the gun. Losing #2 at linebacker will hurt, but I think most return from a very strong defense. I expect the D to carry them early while the offense gets up to speed.
