We'd sit up in the baseball press box and just talk and rest after lunch between practices. We never had the shaved heads thing, but wedgie man during pregame practices the day before games was always hilarious. Surprised that I never got it, but I was always waiting on it considering that I was the only freshman. That's obviously considered punishable by death now.

My old best friend (passenger from my wreck) just posted a video on Facebook of him in a commercial for Saint E's during Jimmy Kimmel! If you have Wednesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel recorded, go back and watch the episode and look for the commercial. It looks like he's on at about 56 minutes into the show and he's the chef with the black hat on backwards! He kind of gave up out in Hollywood after he moved out there for a few years...

An update on this is that I emailed my original doctor from Children's to find out his thoughts on all of this. I thought that they just had to inject the stem cells into my brain and they'd adapt into whatever they need to be for wherever they needed to go and they'd handle all the work, but my doctor said that they need to be organized to work. He said to think of it as a "framework" of the brain and that, if they're not set into that...

Instead of going through the company in China that was sending me to Thailand to get the stem cell injections into my brain, I might apply to see if I can go to England to have them done. I need to find out if this company in England is of the same quality, but, I figure that, if they're similar, it would be a billion times easier to have it done in England so I don't have to be in a country where I don't speak the language, especially since...

I agree that it would be unbelievable and actually just unimaginable. I've been doing research and trying to find out what kind of results people have been getting from this (even though I know it's rather new and still developing, so there's not much on it), and I've noticed people doing a lot more than they could previously, but still not as much as I'd like it to improve me. However, it's obvious that these people weren't as...

Thank you very much! Thank you very much and I definitely will! Now you have me interested! Feel free to send me a message if you don't mind telling me how our paths have crossed! If you don't want to, no big deal! Thank you very much, though, and I'll definitely put in work because I don't know any other way! It's weird because I've continued going to the gym daily (or close to it) for years now thinking that I was fighting a...

Thank you very much! My brother said he needed a week to look at everything and we're on day 5, so I'm trying to keep my cool! No comment! I'm sure I'll post a lot on Facebook before I leave before the trip and then a LOT from the trip, so I'll try to post them on here, too, or I'm sure that they'll be shared all over Facebook. Regardless, you'll see them!

I appreciate it very much. There's lots of people all over that are praying for me for this and lots of people have been praying for me since the wreck. All the prayers have brought me a long way because there's no other explanation for how I'm alive, much-less able to think and function as much as I can. I'm very lucky and very appreciative! Thanks but it's just who I am! I've always been outgoing and loving life but people just...

He and the passenger, who was my other best friend, both walked away without a bruise. Too old to be making trips to Thailand! My mom's still the most beautiful woman in the universe, but she's loving being a grandma and just relaxing, and my father, who is still the greatest man I've ever known, just wouldn't hold up over there with all his medical problems. He's also loving being a grandpa and just enjoying retirement, so I...

When I was 15, my 15-year-old best friend got drunk and drove us into a tree in the cemetery. I suffered a traumatic brain injury (among other things), and was in a three month coma, during which I was declared brain dead. I woke up from the coma unable to walk or talk at all. Now, I can walk a little bit (just ten feet or so unless I use a walker) and can talk a little bit (I normally use a little computer that talks for me, which...

Better circumstances?! There couldn’t possibly be any better circumstance! What happened to me happened and I’m not bitter and I don’t sit around all sad or anything, but this is (could be) life-changing!

Thank you! I still have trouble believing that it's even possible because it was drilled into my head for so long that the brain can't be regenerated.

I think I mentioned it, but, after being rejected from the stem cell trial in the United States, I started applying to places in other countries (I know I mentioned applying in Germany and places in Europe). I applied to a place centered in China that claims to be the largest stem cell distributor in the world and I was approved! They have hospitals all over the world so I have to go to Thailand to have the injections done. ...
