Who is the early favorite for top player in the region? Last year Faulkner, Goodin, Miller and Sloan were no brainers. Anyone like to share early top players list for 2016-2017?

Big win for the Knights, Adiar had previously beat #1 Taylor Co, n a decent John Hardin team earlier this year! Any thoughts on how things are going to shape up in the 5th region? Is there a forsure lock to win this region?

Heavy favorite? GC lost to Taylor14, Cville beat Taylor by 22, I think all rivalry games are gonna be close to to say they are a heavy fav seems a bit much!

The bad thing is that it's a few ppl who actually love the fact that they can get a couple of new players every year, and they will let anybody coach! They got one coach who also coaches basketball and I never seen him play a sport in high school! Never but he's coaching any and everything there! N you all know why!!

Agreed! They fire a guy who was a great Christian guy! A guy that you will not hear one person sad one bad thing about him! And they hire somebody to when games n not show class!! Smh!!

I know the rivalry (like any other) has trash talk, but those kids know each other so well. They played together in little league for years! Some of the assistant coaches coached as well, but for the leader of your program to tell his kids to face the other direction when the other team accepts the trophy is unheard of!! But Roger Cook doesn't care, he's that type of way! But it shows no class at all!

It saddens me that a coach that has done great things as a coach would not even shake hands with the players or coaches after the Taylor/C-vile game! That's really sad!! Smh!!
