  1. The girls that made the team are well deserved. I hope those that feel a player that was eliminated should not have, know every single player that was at the tryout. The tryouts are necessary to determine the final line up. Congrats ALLSTARS YOU DESERVE TO BE ON THE TEAM! Sorry not everyone makes the team, participation ribbons not available.
  2. Not this one. This is the NKY Girls Basketball Coaches Association. The senior only award is given by the Kentucky Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA).
  3. Congratulations Lexi Held! Two years in a row is quite an accomplishment.
  4. Held with 30pts. What was interesting is that the fouls ended up 32 to 10. That's nuts on any court.
  5. Will Ally Neice be ready to play this season? If so, when?
  6. CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE THAT DID EARN AND MAKE THE LIST!!! Let's talk about them for a second..... Lexi Held is a BEAST! Maddie Scherr is a GREAT PLAYER. Tyrah McClendon-Englemon is CRAZY GOOD! Lauren Schwartz is AMAZING. Zoie Barth is TOUGH! Courtney Hurst is UNSTOPPABLE! Maddie Burcham is FANTASTIC! Laila Johnson is very TALENTED! Olivia Crigler is GREAT! Lexy Breen is AWESOME! TOP 10 PLAYERS 1. Lexi Held - Cooper 2. Maddie Scherr - Ryle 3. Tyrah McClendon-Englemon - Holmes 4. Lauren Schwartz - Ryle 5. Zoie Barth - Highlands 6. Courtney Hurst - Conner 7. Maddie Burcham - Conner 8. Laila Johnson - Holmes 9. Olivia Crigler - Holy Cross 10. Lexy Breen - NCC
  7. Congratulations to Cooper Junior Lexi Held for being awarded Player of the Year AND Miss Hustle. The girl works hard on offense and harder on defense. Great year and more to come!
  8. Cooper is #1 seed over Conner. The won a coin toss between the two coaches. Cooper will play Boone first round and Conner will play Ryle.
  9. Congratulations to the Jags for beating SK. Out played them from the tip! Great job ladies!
  10. Congratulations. Does this point count start from her sixth grade year at Scott?
  11. Lexi Held reached her 1000 point by playing varsity with Cooper for in a little over 2 seasons (she started for varsity about midway her 8th grade year)Some of the others mentioned reached the milestone earlier and played varsity in 6th/7th grade. I personally think the career points should begin with each player the beginning of their freshman year to give a more accurate picture. But congrats Lexi Held (and all other in the 1000 point club members) great job!
  12. Jags played a strong offensive and defensive game from start to finish. Team came together and played strong. Great win over the Rebels!
