A sad black eye for a great program

With 35 seconds left on the clock in a game that was already decided , Elders coach ( I'm pretty sure it was their head coach) turned to the Highlands stands and started to mouth off to the Highlands fans with some choice words @#$* Way to show your class Elder, Way to go....

Their head coach is a class act. We were on the field after the game taking pictures and when we were finished he approached my son #28 Josh Watson. He put his arm around Josh and proceeded to tell Josh how his coaches have been watching films of Josh , Griffin and Bo and how they had their Defense key on them. He told Josh that it was a privilege to play against a team like Highlands and wished him luck not only in the rest of the season but in life. This Head Coach is a class act.

What an embarrassment to the Cov. CATH team. It was even a longer walk with the Bluebird fans clapping and cheering after he got the second flag. 30 yards of back to back penaltys from the Chain Gang put the Birds on the Five yard line. Next play Birds score.

JV Birds had alot of broken coverage in the defensive secondary today. O line looked good, good pass blocking and nice onside kick recovery by the kicker. Couldnt tell if the recievers were running poor routes or if the passes were just that far off. Either way there is room for improvement.
