  1. Rumors are Davis was let go. Don't know the specific reasons. However, Madisonville graduated the other 4 starters, and they didn't have a deep bench. Most think the only thing Madisonville has going for them next year is a possible Mr. Basketball. Similiar to the Lyon County team with Ty Rogers 4 years ago. Time will tell.
  2. I think stepscalled is correct. All coaches have a vote. I think you are right about that.
  3. I don't know much about Henderson, but every year I discount them, they always seem to play in the finals of the region. I know they lost Terry, which probably consisted of 40% of their scoring. I'm sure they will reload as usual.
  4. I don't remember Richies brother. But, I do remember Chadwell. Just like you and JJ said, he could jump and!
  5. 1. Christian County 2. Hopkinsville 3. Hopkins Central 4. Henderson 5. Madisonville
  6. It's been a long time ago, but I think his name was Russell Chadwick.
  7. Everyone was rooting for Clay County, but Ballard wore them out, even though Richie had 50+.
  8. All of you guys listen to what the Hopkinsville Tiger has to say about this issue. He hits the nail right on the head. Think about the mindset everyone has when privates play for the titles in different sports. Tiger, how long has it been since a UHA player has received POY? I don't have any idea. Mack? Swannagan? Moss? Victor? Barnes? Buckner? Cline? How does Cline not get Coach of the year in his only 2 years at UHA, taking them to the sweet 16 & to the final 4 when they were not even considered favorites in the region. But takes over a Madisonville girls team, goes 10-16, and picks up the award in his first year there. Is Terry the best player in the second region. Absoutely not. Does Terry play harder than Hopson 90% of the time. Absoutely. Now, throw in the fact that Hopson plays for a "successful" private school. There's your answer.
