I graduated from 8th grade. It was a big deal back then. I remember my grandfather led the opening and closing prayers. If fact, I believe it was the last 8th grade graduation at Rockholds Elementary. The next year Whitley County Middle school opened and Rockholds dropped back to K through 6th grade. My father attended high school there back in the late 30's and early 40's. I don't think the building is even there, now.

LA won't be ready in time, so Super Bowl LV comes to Tampa Bay. $150 million in renovations to Raymond James and the success of the College Football National Championship Game had a lot to do with it. Tampa's downtown rejuvenation, lead by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik played apart. The fact that the CEO of the NFL Tod Leiweke was CEO of the Lightning, before taking that job, had nothing to do with it. :D

Two players are now allowed to return off injured reserve instead of one. Under the new rule, two players per season are eligible to return to practice if they had been on IR for at least six weeks. They can return to games eight weeks after being put on injured reserve. The move gives teams greater roster flexibility and a chance to have their best players on the field for important late-season games.
