  1. Jackson Sivills led McCracken County with a career high 32 points, half of the offensive output for the Mustangs. McCracken County trailed 48-39 seconds into the last quarter, but ripped off a 25-8 run to take their largest lead at 64-56. Bowling Green had led by as much as 11 in the game, in large part due to Trevor Dennis, who had 20 points with six three pointers. He was not in the game for a large portion of the last quarter. Not sure if he had an injury, but he ultimately did not score in that quarter. Kolbe Gray had 15 for Bowling Green and Isaiah Mason added 13. Dumas had 14 for McCracken County with Winsett chipping in 12. The end of the game was inexplicable. McCracken County called their last timeout with 15 seconds left with the ball. Bowling Green went for the steal, but never fouled to extend the game, allowing McCracken County to run out the clock. It was very odd to put it mildly. Also of note was the huge free throw disparity. The first region officiates games wildly differently from the fourth region. Teams around here frequently complain about Bowling Green and Warren Central's pressure defense and the relative lack of fouls called on them. Bowling Green's rim attacking style also typically leads to them getting to the foul line frequently, where they excel. Well, Bowling Green finished the game 4/7 from the foul line. McCracken County was 23/33, and probably only six of those attempts were in trying to close out the game. It's extremely uncommon to see either Bowling Green bleeding that many free throw attempts or getting to the foul line so little. A Purple fan was ejected by the officials a couple of minutes into the third quarter to give you an idea of how their fans felt about it.
