I just talked to one of the Conner players and he told me that Courtney Anderson is going to Gallatin County next year. Thats a big loss for Conner.

Conner only loose two starters from last years team. Eric Thomas will be the team leader. Courtney Anderson and Micah Pugh down inside should have another good year together. Jayce Jordan is one of the top juniors in his class this year. Brandon Begely and Avery will fight for the fifth starting spot.

I thought that Sammi Johns had moved into the Ryle school district and will be attending Ryle this coming school year?

Yes i recently heard that Sammi Johns was now atending Ryle. Im not sure on this but I heard it was over coaching at Conner. And im thinking that is is spelt Kramer.

For the most part......I like the 10 selected. Don't get me wrong, these are all very good bball players. But Erik Thomas and Luke Mace in the top 10? I would say top 20 at best. The most improved player in the 10 is Josh Nelson. 4 yrs ago, he had no clue how to play. Greg Ponzer did a good job with him....I believe Cory Sorrell verbally commited to NKU. But by far.......Arrez is the best player in the 9th. Another GP product. Good job GP!

Eric Thomas will be the leader of that team this year, he will lead them in scoring and assists.

Its about time someone agrees wit me about Nic Simpson being the best player in the region

Jordan Kramer of Conner will be there to help Hodges. I don't know how Asia Adams has done this summer but if she has improved she will def help out down low she is about six foot two with really long arms

Heard from a pretty reliable resource that Courtney Anderson will be playing for Gallatin County next year, not the cougars.

I know courtney personally and am almost positive he will not be attending Gallatin. It was a rumor going around.

1,500 yards the last two years. Northern Kentucky leading rusher the last two years I believe. 15 touchdowns last year how you say he is not up there in the top ten.

Conner is going to one of the top teams in the region this year. They loose a good group of seniors from last years team including 1000 point scorer Kat O'neil, Stevie Stellman, and Allison Fancher.

They return two starters this year in Stephanie Hodges, and Allison Long who will be the next 1000 point scorer at Conner. Also returning is Jordan Kramer, Sammi Johns, and Devin Beasley. Look out in the future for the back of Long and Beasley.

7. John Mailey (Ryle) needs to post up smaller defenders.

10. Luke Mace (Dixie) should be the most dominate player in the region with his size.

Gallatin returns key players from last years team David Henson, Trent Maddox, Jarad Carlton, Josh Davis.

Micah Pugh of Conner is a name for everyone to remember. Micah was a starter all his junior year and went up against people twice his size. He needs to gain a little weight to be a big presence down low in the post but still should have a good year.
