I'm guessing she's the early favorite for POY in NKY.

Don't agree with the early favorite for POY in NKY at all. I don't even think she is the best player in her district. (Allison Long of Conner)

Whats everyones thought I no Bradley from Boone and my pick to be player of the year Allison Long of Conner will be there but other thoughts?

No Behrens from Boone, Weaver from Holmes or Hodge from Conner. Shortchanging NKY when these girls clearly deserve at the very least Honorabe Mention ruins all creditability that the Herald may have. These 3 young ladies are clearly as good or better then several named to this so called All-State team IMO..

About this scoreboard issue... I believe Title nine plays a huge role in this issue about spending money when and where PUBLIC schools want... Cov Cath is a private school with private funding in which they can put toward athletics... Conner unfortunately doesn't have this luxury!

If you watch the game, you should be able to know what the score is.

I'm not sure if how he is doing with his knee injury or if he is even planning on playin basketball again but if Jayce Jordan of Conner plays he has to be in the top ten. Another name to watch is Chris Lang.

#4 and #45 for Paintsville impressed me very much how they were able to handle the pressure and take control of the team. Last night was first night I have been able to see Landon Slone play and he impressed alot. Looking foward to the Henderson vs Slone matchup. Ill go with Holmes by 13.

I agree now that I think about it. HC will struggle and I forgot about the resurgent Conner Cougars. They have Thomas and Avery back next season among others so they might even slip up to 7 or 8 by end of the year.

If your talking bout Eric Thomas he is a senior this year. Conner returns Avery,Chris Lang (suprise player to watch) Tyler Brake, Arron Stephans. I think the key for Conner will be if Jayce Jordan returns to play his senior year due to ACL injury.

I hate to tell everyone that I told you so. Congrats to Conner, and to Allison Long on her 1000 point.

Conner should have Tyler Brake on Luke Mace in side, not as tall as Mace but Tyler is a big kid that will fight down inside with him. Micah Pugh will probably guard Kyle Kendall if I had to guess.

Sounds way, way, way, way, way too familiar. Hopefully Coach L reminds the boys against the 05 squad with Votel.....

He better remind them of that game against Conner, I remember it very well played in game, and know one gave us a chance.:thumb:

Im going with my boys from Conner 57-52. Two words Jim Hicks.

Everyone keep talking about how Conner is not a scary team to play. Their record at home is not the best. Just to let everyone know it's tournament time. And guess who Conner's coach is, Jim Hicks. That's all I have to say.
