  1. Their greens are absolutely terrible. Played their recently in a scramble and it was not fun at all.

Has anyone been out to AJ Jolly in the past few weeks? I spoke with a buddy of mine and he said they have lost everyone of their greens. He spoke with Terry Jolly and they believe someone in their maintenance fouled up some chemicals in their fertilizer and when we had the 100 plus heat days they all died. My buddy said it it terrible..putting on clay and dirt. This breaks my heart as I've always felt that Terry Jolly and his crew always had the nicest conditions of any of the public courses in NKY. They will lose a bundle of money. They had a 120 man outing scheduled for this Saturday that because of the conditions cancelled earlier this week and moved it to The Willows.
  2. I am not trying to bash them. I just wonder I don't see some veteran officials helping out at the freshman level. Maybe its the level of basketball considering it is a small school which I follow. I have worked in their shoes, albeit at a grade school level. Trust me I am not a ref basher! Just some stuff you see are not right and I think it could be corrected by working with a veteran to get some feedback!

Just like the players.....You talk about, mechanics, positioning, and the future of some, curious as to how many years of officiating you have under your belt to be able to make these evaluations?
  3. Seem to be a bunch of new faces in the 9th. Some have promising futures and some not so much. Just what I have seen at freshman level. Would think it would make it a little sense to put a veteran with a 1st or 2nd year guy to learn proper mechanics and positioning if veterans are working freshman games in the 9th. I've seen 7 or 8 freshman games, and though I do not know for a fact, both men seem to be learning the ropes. Just an observation and I am sure this has been brought up before.

  4. I bought a 10 in. sliding mitre form lowes that is a Kobalt. Absolutely love it. Have redone baseboards, built a deck, cutting composite railings and variuos 4x4s and Composite decking, neighbor used it for pergo floor. Was $200 at lowes and also has a laser which is really nice feature!
