The Championship is played at Cov Cath.
And the games up to the Championship are not played at neutral sites.

69-38, final score. Highlands also didn't have McGraw and Simpson.
-
Does anyone have any stats?
How much time was left before the bad pass/steal?
Is McGraw playing for the birds or is he hurt?
I think, I am not totally sure, but it was around 16....maybe 11 seconds something like that..

Does anyone know where the big boy (number 44) for Highlands is going to school?
-
How big is Mace?
It still amazes me that Ken Chevalier is the head coach at Dixie Heights.
6'8" around 220
-
Wow, thought he was a junior. He's quite a battler, not afraid to go inside and mix it up.
Its about time though, because about three weeks ago he would never shoot, but I am glad to see him hold his own tonight. I think he was the one brightspot in this game for Dixie.

Sick, had a 100+ fever Tuesday.
Not that it mattered though, probably didn't even need to play.
-
I was there. They didn't go to Mace because Chevy kept taking him out of the game. There were a couple of long stretches where Luke just sat. I must say though, Pompilio is a HORSE. He's going to be a nice player his senior year.
Pompilio is only a sophomore too, so watch out next year as well...

Why didn't Jacobs start?
-
1.Hill-Consistatly best player all season, although has cooled off of late.
2.Jacobs-IMO, best shooter, best passer, best defender.
3.Keirnan-Best bigman no doubt, very athletic, very dominant
4.Grimes-POY canidate next year, all around player, alot like the next guy
5.McFarland-Best soph in the area. Gets better every year. Knows the game.
6.Crews-Most underrated player in the region. He's playing like Lafollete in 05'
7.Lenhof-Good ballhandler, good shooter, good leader.
8.Simpson-Best junior behind Grimes?Good shooter.Great Defender.Leader.
9.Henderson-Most athletic kid in the region. Has developed an outsideshot.
10.Rice-If he was more consistant he'd be a top 3 player. Can dominate inside.
I think after the game tonight, Simpson should move up a couple of spots.
-
Simpson is a nice ball player, his ability to elevate on his shot was a major reason why he was able to score so much. I think Dixie should have tried a different defender, maybe Kendall, someone who was a little bigger and could match up better. But, congrats to Highlands, very exciting game.

Already a thread on this?
Its not that early....is it?
-
with about 5 15 left i only needed two more....wow couldn't remember pennsylvania, or new jersey (which should basically be new york anyways)
-
Dixie by 6 tonight
-
Marquette up on St. Johns 25-20 with 4 40 left
-
68-59 final. St. Henry.
-
38-28 at half Saint Henry...
-
-
I think it will be a great fit...
-
He only was suspended one game though...
-
Didn't they draft Freeney??
Yes, in 2002.
-
Steinbach (OL from Bengals) was signed by the Browns.

I have not had the pleasure to see some of the players mentioned. Of course I am biased. Preston Knowles amazes me at how fluid he is when he jumps. I have seen his head above the rim.
All though one time against Dixie this year he did miss a wide open dunk, but its better then I could do. I can't even get rim;)

Can a high school girl be successful at basketball while still playing another sport. My daughter plays another sport in addition to basketball. She is probably better at the other sport then basketball. On more than one occassion, I have suggested to her that maybe she should try to focus on one or the other. However, she says she enjoys playing both. Can she succeed in either sport by playing more than one sport in high school? Any thoughts?
I think it should be her decision. IMO she is just a teenager, and in high school and should have fun with it.

Kendall will be out. He didn't play against Lloyd Tuesday night.
He is sick.
