I honestly know nothing about Bell's offense this year. We know that Boyle's run defense is stout... but the pass defense has some chinks in the armor. How effective is Bell's pass game?

Im afraid after the Lex Cath performance that the score will be something like that. I hope not.

Hopefully the defensive lapses will be gone next Friday and the Rebels will be focused for Bell.

Did Boyle Co just suck it up on pass D or was Lex Cath just playing that well?

I was at the Boyle/Bell game last year and it might be the best HS football game I've ever seen. Ill be pulling for the Rebels again this Friday night.

How do all of the Rebels fans feel about this performance leading into the showdown with Bell County? Hard fought game for Boyle that was closer than many expected while Bell County rolled in their regional championship game. Just curious what the feeling of the team and the fans are heading into next Friday.

Do you expect to be able to slow down Davenport and be able to focus on the pass? That would be my biggest worry defensively.

You cant move forward at the snap as I understand it...but, for example, a running back can move forward to get to where he is going. IE... lets say you are in shotgun with the back to your side. He can move forward towards the line before splitting out wide.

How is Bell's passing game? The last two teams with potent passing attacks (Lone Oak and Lex Cath) have shredded Boyle.

Also... what is Bell's run defense like? Im guessing that Johnson Central had the best rushing attack on their schedule to date. How did they fare against Jude?

My high school had, until just a few years ago, a large number of classes taught in trailers.

To all those who think we aren't classless I say thank you. No one that I know from Boyle County(coaches and fans) are anyone I would call classless. A lot of these coaches and fans have known me and my family since my son was a young age. I have enjoyed being accepted into the Rebel family and I have enjoyed being a member of the Rebel Nation. I will always defend the honor of my Rebels(coaches and fans) and I will admonish them as well if the situation calls for it. I will always have my Rebel Nation's back and will be there in any capacity that is needed. I have never witnessed or been a part of any classless acts but I am not naive enough to believe they haven't happened. I hate this black eye some are trying to give our program but we will move on and get past this. You can't please everyone.

People confuse things, they almost make it out to be, if you win, and dominate while doing it, you are classless. This is not the case. The only thing that makes you is better than the other team who couldnt hang with you.

The title of this thread should be "Boyle County better than your team?" Then we could all answer yes.

I thought it was hilarious. For me trash talk is what it is. I can only imagine the stuff LeBron hears about his mom on the court. If I was on the court or courtside and heard KG say that, I'd have lost it.

He's a FB. Im sure we'll be ok and find a FB. Yeah it was a real shame that we pulled kids like Andre' Woodson, Jacob Tamme, Keenan Burton, Micah Johnson etc... they were corner stones for our program for several years.

Not too sure it would be an upset special. Nicholas Co. plays in one of if not the toughest districts in the state.

This. We would be a lot better than 6-4, 1-3 in another district. We played well against Fairview, LCA and Raceland.

Eastern is definitely not the state's school/flagship university by any means. Outside of Madison County... no one really pays attention to them.

Few KY kids? According to yahoo's roster, there are 48 KY kids on UK. That's a whole lot of KY kids to root for.
