Jonathan Ferguson has scored 3220 to be at number eleven on All time scoring list.
I saw where he now has 278+ career three's to make the All time three point list at number nine. He also should move up on both before his career is finished
Congrat's Jonathan! Will sure miss watching you buddy.

Yes, I was at the game last night, It appears to me that their trapping defense isn't what it used to be. Maybe they were just a step slow. It wasn't as effective as years past. Maybe everyone's adjusted and more used to it. But it just seemed that these very talented boys were a little off. Congratulations to Ferg on joining the 3000 point club. Somehow such a monumentous occassion warranted more than just a game ball. Perhaps some sort of trophy or even have the ball bronzed as he is among an elite group of only what 26 or 27 players? The twins continue to create a number of turnovers from the other team, and I want them to continue to improve and do well. This is my team. IMO they were a little off the last few games and I hope they make some adjustments. Ison done a tremendous job for the mintues he got. Chris still is good at creating havoc, I heard a number of comments questioning his decision making on some of his drives though. Timmy had a nice dunk and a few blocks and key rebounds, It's good to see him rebounding more than years past, but he really wasn't effective offensively last night. Good luck in the future, We'll be there rooting you on.
I agree. Elliott seems to have lost the their edge somewhat. The first ten or twelve games it was just wham bam thank you mam crisp passing with everybody making the extra pass for the most part and the defense was just out of this world. Last night I thought they got it back in the second half and looked good for the remainder of the game. Hopefully they will stay on track and take care of business. They are a very good team when they play to their potential. Hope you guys go all the way:dancingpa

Ferg will be on either the 1st or 2nd team.
He was Hon. Ment as a soph! 2nd Team last year as Jr!!
-
I also would like to apologize to all of the readers, the Elliott fan's and Ferg fan's on here for all this confusion!! Hopefully this should satisfy everyone:ohbrother::deadhorse:
Congratulation's Jonathan!
No problem Dale. Anyone who has worked as an accountant can relate.
It is very easy to get numbers messed up, even if you had all the papers on hand and looking at them.:thumb:

But he played at Pikeville last year right?
Yes

Zack is Metz first name isn't it. Not sure about Maze

Nice article

Elliott by ten.

EC by a few:banana:

I totally agree with you. My son continues to get better and better and loves playing AAU Bball. I think more kids should play AAU ball to improve their game.

Congrats SV.

IMO, Timmy Knipp is the best in the state and I've seen every player who has been listed play. I would say Stenzel was a close second.
He seemed disturbed at some of or someone on his team last night I thought.

Allright! A poll nearly everyone so far, agree's with. Especially since it has Elliott # 5.
If they were any higher though it would be no good, they don't figure it right, their system has flaw's in it, it's terrible , and don't mean anything.

I am on this site every day and read just about every post on it and I have never saw where anyone said they had 4 HIGH D1 players. They said 4 D1's and I would say that is very possible. There are several different grades of D1. WE are enjoying the ride and kinda to the extreme being it will probably be our last time and being that everyone claims to understand that we are small and it probably wont ever happen again to begrudge us going a little overboard would.....well IMO would be considered a little jealous. The KID'S love the unrealistic expectations and believe in them theirselves. If they didn't they wouldn't gut it out "all game, every game". You have to believe in something or you will fall for anything. I have watched these boy's play every game they have played for 7 years now. They are the reason us fans believe they could possibly conquer the world so to speak. I have saw them down by 20 to big athletic teams many times and just keep on and keep on digging and fighting next thing you know they have took the lead and won the game. THE KIDS are the reason the ELLIOTT CO fans have unrealistic expectations. Nothing wouldn't surprise me out of them. If they played MoreHead State tomorrow night I wouldn't count them out untill the buzzer went off. Do they believe that also.....Yes!!!!!!!!!! Unrealistic...Maybe! They may get beat in first round of District, who knows, but for now.....they believe they can make it to finals of the KHSAA State Tourney and so do I!!!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE. GO ELLIOTT Oh! I forgot to add I am having a total blast on "THE RIDE" as Coach Griffith has labeled it and am really going to miss it when its over regardless of when it ends, this will be my last go around am I going to go a litlle overboard and exploit it....You better believe it!!!!!!!!!! This is Ferguson signing off...Yeeehaaw!!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa:ylsuper:
A genuine classic.:dancingpa

I thought the West guard's were pretty tough also. If the Elliott guards does not rattle your team's guards then they would have to be considered very solid.
-
Best duo??? Rex and Duck.
Rex definately is in the running for helpside defender of the year.

1A Ferguson/ Et Faulkner
1B Ev Faulkner/ Et Faulkner
1C Ferguson/ Ev Faulkner

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: Die hard Elliott fan are we?

A little off topic, but I agree. MC PaPa has always been first class when posting or enforcing the rule's. I heard Mr. Joe B. Hall said Elliott was his "all time favorite high school team". If that is true, Elliott couldn't recieve a better compliment than that.
-
I would take Boyles as the 2nd best PG
I wouldn't.
-
I would have to go with West's point guard after Faulkner.
-
Guy's it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks. Everyone is going to fend for their own team. IMO the top teams( and I also have watched them all) are close enough to whichever team is having a subpar shooting night the other will win, or whoever gets the most lucky bounces, or benefit of doubt on close calls etc.
-
C.M Elliott gets outrebounded a lot of games because they are almost always the smaller team. They do however win most of the games they get outrebounded in. From what I was told(by one of the stat-keepers) their worst problem was a cold shooting first half. He said they shot right at their normal FG% in second half and outscored AC by 16 counting the OT.

NO ONE is invincible or indispensable. ANY ONE can be beaten by the worst team in the league on certain night's. I never count my chickens until they hatch.
Ferguson and KHSAA Record's List

I would guess that he never made 250 or more three's. That is what it takes to make the list.
