  1. One more from me. I have followed this kid for quite a while and this county. New football progam, lack of support, etc from coaching for many kids in this county....many will never be noticed unless someone makes an extra effort.Lorenz did more in the few games he got to play than most did in playing all games; but, he is being overlooked!!! Someone needs to step up.There are other players in that county with great potential. Need outside help. News media, something....cause he won't come for the coaches or the athletic dept. all politics. I am new to this website and if I say something that upsets someone...then may...they need to pay attention...getting honest is not easy. These kids and their future is. It shouldn't be who you know, who you are related to, who's pocket you're in. Someone outside that county needs to pay attention. Don't get manipulated into the bull. Listen with eyes and ears.
  2. I have typed more than one message. I guess they're too long. Bottom line is Jess Lorenz has been short changed this year by medical issues that are not life threatening. Now he is looked at as "damaged goods" I think; yet this kid has the potention with the right coaching and support to play d1 or d2. IF THERE IS A COACH OUT THERE WILLING TO STEP "OUT OF THE BOX" THEY NEED TO CONTACT HIM! He needs a sincere, REAL COACH to pay attention
  3. Somewhere around 6'2" to 6'3". 225lbs - 230lbs.From track stats his 40 was 4. 7 to 4 .8
  4. He is a senior this year. From what I understand, he (for unknown reasons) developed high blood pressure. After going through a battery of testing including a 3-4 day stay at the hospital, all possible testing was done and he past every test. The conclusion is something to do with constriction or restriction of the diaphram and chest cavity due to how muscular he is. I also understand that he was seeing a sports physical/massage therapist who was working on opening up the area and the therapy was working. The therapist had seen this before with atheletes. Apparently, he not only started in athletic areas early in his life, he also starting working out early while his body was developing. Unknown to a lot of us, this issue is not uncommon. It exposes itself with the athlete who pushes themselves to extent that many don't.
  5. Yes. I know who he is. He is without a doubt a natural at football. He is one of those few that knows every position and where everyone is suppose to be. He doesn't give 110%. He gives 150% and is out there to win. He is somewhere around 6'2-6'3 about 225-230lbs and is powerhouse. You can close your eyes and listen and know who made the tackle. Or put him in to run the ball and it's almost like a cartoon watching a pile of players being pulled down the field and each one falling off one at at time as he breaks thru. Unfortunately for him, his talent has gone almost unnoticed due to the fact that he has been at a school with a young football program, with no classification and no real coaching support for his talent.
