The Girls Basketball Team won the All "A" 13th Region two years in a row. They won 19 games in the 04-05 season! I think that says something. I had no faith myself in the young squad this year, but I believe they will end up being a pretty good team this year, of course, with Bell and Middlesboro being added the district makes things tougher, but when the tournaments start a new season starts.

Any predictions for the LCC Tournament? Of course, I pick Cumberland to win!

Ok, here is a good story. Do something on Coach Bond. He has been around forever and will probably retire for good when the new school is built. I would have to say I think he is the best girls' coach in the area right now.

Maybe I was mistaken on some things, but I thought the Enterprise put together those teams that were in the newspaper, thats what I was lead to believe anyway. Sorry for that! I didn't say you all didn't cover the Skins. What about the Michael Washington not being recongized for football? Whose was at fault there?

Show me some proof of them taking up for Cumberland. I do agree with the fact the Tri-City News should cover Cumberland Sports, but they can't even cover regular news.

Well if you like the Lady Skins, then make it look that way when you cover the games and remember that comment when it comes to the Harlan Daily Enterprise Girls All District Team and stuff.

I could name many things, but I won't to save me time and energy. You know how we are treated by you all. We could win by 100 and you would make it look as if we only won because the other team played bad or something.

Im sorry to say, but everyone in Cumberland knows that the Harlan Daily Enterprise is against Cumberland or at least a certain Managing Editor is. You were not at the game against Red Bird or you would have saw that refs were awful. One of the ref's children graduated from Red Bird and all of the players knew him by name. Does that not tell you something? From my knowledge, the HDE will not be getting any comments or anything from the Lady Skins until Cumberland is represented fairly by HDE. The sports editor is the only person who gives Cumberland equal treatment. Your important is not appreicated!

I believe that the Cumberland Lady Skins deserve to be in the top 10 in the Region somewhere if teams in the 13th Region that are 2-3 are in there. I mean Cumberland has a starting point guard that is an 8th grader and 3 other starters that are freshman. Come on, they have a 6-2 record and one of those losses was only by 2 points.
