I forgot to mention Deron Feldhaus of Mason Co . He was one of the tops in our region of all times.

You're right, I didn't see Larry Wood play, but I was talking about the team with coach White.
I've been familiar with Bracken Co, Augusta, Deming, Maysville, St Pat, Mason Co, Tollesboro, Lewis Co, Fleming Co teams since the early 50's and they have all had their share of good ball players. I think Larry Wood of Bracken, Fred Walker of Maysville, Ronnie Lyons and Chris Lofton of Mason, Chris Harrison of Tollesboro, Ralphie Davis of Lewis Co, Fran Stahl and Jay Gast of ST Pat, the Kelsch boys and Ike Reynolds of the 1960's Augusta, and Deming--probably Steven Staggs ,Scotty Graves or Joe Mitchell and Fleming Co would have to be Clay Evans. This would be interesting to see what others think .

What's the name of the Stepp's boys father.

I know the 16th region pretty well and I do believe Rose Hill will be the team to beat at the end of the season . It's hard to beat Dakota's size and hustle and Chad's quickness. I do believe they're as good if not better than any in the 16th.

Perhaps, by any definition, River Valley wasn't the patsy that they seemed to those not in attendance. They played the Royals closer than Morgan. Congratulations to Coach Fraley and the Royals.:thumb:
Hey Spindock, I'll tell you how tough River Valley is after I watch them in the Ohio State Tournament.
-
Obviously you didn't see them play
Obviously , you didn't see Larry Wood play. I've seen them all.

Since 1950, Larry Wood was by far the best that Bracken Co ever had.

Morgan County is a lot better than most folks realize. They've made great progress in just the week since they stumbled in their opener with West. I wouldn't be surprised if they thump East and West before Christmas. :thumb:
They won't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fight:

I think Rose Hill will get a lot of win's within the 16th region.

Hey--I wish Rose Hill the best this season-Love to see small schools do well--:fire:

I'm not downgrading the boys from Rose Hill because I know they are a very talented young players that will probably become Division One prospects 3 years from now. I didn't mean to upset anyone but I know what I said was true. U. K . is a good example of what I 'm talking about, they play teams in the beginning of the year that a good high school team could compete with and this doesn't help those boys at all but makes the program look good and helps the won-loss record. I can use myself as an axample, I played at a very small high school and started as a frosh and averaged 24+ points for 3 years and played center and I:thumb: transfered to a large high school my sr year and we played most of the top teams in Ky and they played me at guard and I got a division 1 scholarship. Better competition made me a better player.

Knowles and Miller are my pick of the litter!!!!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa

I heard today that Jones will be out about a month after his hand operation this Wed and Stenzel will be out about two weeks wearing a temporary cast with a hairline fracture of the growth plate in the ankle.

You get better by playing the better even if it means getting beat every once in a while. A lot of points and good stats are fine but the young learn by playing against players of equal or better talent.
-
Mason by as many as they want.

I watched games at Bourbon Co. from about 2 oclock on and Knowles was by far the most impressive player I saw all day. Tubby may have left the building too soon. I know for sure he can out-shoot anyone he's got and also may be a little faster.
