  1. I would guess Kansas and Texas won't be in the same bracket so Duke, Pitt or OSU will have the 5th best team in their bracket for the tournament. Other than that it doesn't matter what they're ranked now. If I was the big 5 I'd love to have SD St. or BYU as 2 seeds rather than the team left out of the #1 seeds.

Yep, that's the real draw right there to see who gets SD St and BYU. I think (want) Ohio St to be the number 1 overall seed, followed by Duke, Pitt and Kansas. Texas the top #2 with the likes of SD St., BYU, and then ???

  2. Wasn't the Cats Pause fault, but I agree with you on Rogers not making that list. However, I will say that I think Stenzel is the region's best player.

Overall talent wise? You don't get an argument from me. Corey deserves this award just as much as anybody else that could have won it too though. I believe you could make a case between 4-5 players this year and all would have been deserving.

  3. Mason is looking good the last few games. This ia a totally different team with Pawsat on the floor. He hah blocked shots, eight rebounds, two or three charges and is the true leader on the floor. Setty had six assists last night which is probably a season high. Everything runs alot smoother with Neal on the floor.

Glad to hear he is back and being able to be effective for at least a portion of his senior year.

  4. Agree that's why I think Setty should win. Stenzel is the only other player that could challenge.

Works both ways though IMO. He's the main (or only) option, so he gets more shots and chances and is set up better to produce better stats. Robbie shares the shots and the points because the team is so talented and could have 4 or 5 different scorers on a given night. If I needed somebody to make a big shot with the game on the line, or hit free throws with no time left on the clock to win the game, Robbie is my man and it's not even close. :D

  5. Not a big fan but I'm going to brag a little bit... My girlfriend went to auditions for the "glee project" in Chicago about a couple months or so back. They are doing a show on oxygen which is going to be kind of set up like American Idol. They are going to have about 15 make the show and compete until there's a winner who will win a guest character on the show for the upcoming season. My girlfriend made it to through all the cuts and rounds until she was about with 100 people left out of thousands and thousands. Unfortunately, she didn't make the final picking and be flown out to L.A. but she had a great experience. She got to perform in front of and meet the Glee executive producer along with many of the characters on the show.

  6. Calipari can recruit with the best of them. He just can't coach as well. How many games can they lose in the last 3-4 minutes? Deja vu! Come crunch time he is not a very good x and o guy.

I strongly disagree after seeing the adjustments Cal made in the game late today after Vandy switched to the zone and right after UK came out of a timeout.

  7. How so?

UK had been struggling against the zone and right after they came out of the time out he ran the overload play to get Jones a 3. And then the play for Knight to rub off and get open for the 3 to cut the lead back down to 3. I think people underestimate his ability... and I'm far from a UK fan.

  8. He was , he didn't know he was close, or who even held the record. Robbie is a very humble kid. Dosn't matter who scores ..just wants to win.

Don't know if many remember Wes Burtner, but he graduated in 1998. Went on to Belmount University, where now he hold the leading scorer, rebounder and assist honors. He is currently the Assistant AD at Belmount.
