They are currently 4-5 with losses to Fern Creek, Fairdale, Male, Eastern and Western. This game all depends on which Southern team shows up. Despite their overall record which I believe is 4-4 Desales is a very good team. This one should be close.

After a rought start to the year , Southern ended up making the playoffs for the first time in 8 years. Many of the key players responsible for the turn around will be back this year. Junior TB Clavin Ferguson and Senior FB Eric Pickett will be part of a skilled backfield. The defense is returning all but three of its starters led by Senior LB's Trevor Knight and Josh Dunn and Senior Db Josh Skinner. If things go well early Southern should be pretty good.

Louisville pulled Josh Wallers (Louisville Southern) offer 2 days before he was to sign. He has been at a junior college for 2 years (only played one year) and would have had three years left at Louisville. It was because of his commitment to them he turned down several other schools that showed interest. Thankfully he had a last minute offer from New Mexico State and accepted it. I guess when you get big time its easy to dump on kids. Shame on them and everyone else that does this, I dont care if its a business or not.
