It can be seen on Ihigh kentucky.....if I am not mistaken Goldie. I was watching Warrren Central and Bowling Green with the Purples leading at the half....two very talented teams..
-
Best of luck to the Cards, Coach Humphery and Number 1 fan Golden Sunrise........will be rooting for them to cut down the nets on Saturday night.
-
New Cath 21 Corbin 0 near the end of the first half.

LCA had many opportunties to win this game. The interception inside the 10 late in the game on a cross field pass was a questionable playcall IMO. If they(LCA) score there the clock issues are not worth mentioning. Both teams played hard and one team had to win. In the end, it will profit both squads, as this game had a post season feel to it. Corbin made their share of miscues as well and their kids overcame it and gained the victory. Best of luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Don't know, taking it day by day.
I would guess District finals. But that is only a guess.

I tell you this Scott team scares me. So well coached and the kids play so hard. I love to watch them play. They led most of the game but got into foul trouble. Zollo made most of his points at the foul line. It was a ugly win for the Cards, but still a win. Stenzel did not play.
Scott brings some Northern Kentucky basketball to the 10th region Goldie.....lol
They love those 40- 37 games up North. I agree, Coach Carr does a great job and Scott is a very dangerous team. Well coached and they get the most out of their talent.

No problemo dude. Hey, coach Denney finally let me see that ole clipboard you was talking about. Check it out.
Cool. Very nice personalized touch.
-
Ah man, I was really wanting to see you, but I guess you can sit home and listen to ole Country Earl.
Long time no see Bubba, how ya doing?
Fine as Frog's fur. Thanks for asking!

I still think he should buy them a steak.:thumb:
I will be there Les but you will not see me. You may smell me or feel my presence...You will NOT see me.:scared:
That was extremely, witty SkinPig. I always heard that Swine had a very high IQ. The crowd at the Arena will be huge when the Tigers roll in for the 13th regional tournament, but I think the ears and snout might give you away.

In the words of Milli Vanilli.....Blame it on the Rain.....you gotta blame it on something....Blame it on the Stars. Sometimes a team just get beats. Good win on the road for Clay.

Clark Co will be fine.
Did the Scott Run and Jump cause GRC to turn the ball over? Earlier you mentioned their spacing against the press and getting someone to the middle of the floor, so I assumed the Scott D caused them problems.
-
She usually gets a good seat as well. Must have some connections to get those wonderful seats....
GRC is lucky to have loyal fans like GS.

You are WRONG. I never posted that. Here is the thread, check it out:

Barring any injuries GRC is the favorite to represent the 10th. GRC is the only state ranked team in the 10th at #6 in the state. They have played a very tuff schedule and should be battle tested. We need to take one game at a time and just take care of business.
I REALLY don't understand why GRC doesn't foul with13 sec to go. Worst case scenario is you're down 3 with the
ball with a chance to tie with about 10 to go. Without
Stentzel you are not in this game, but his 3 turnovers really
hurt GRC. Awesome game, HUGE crowd!! Hated to see GRC lose it! This will only make them better come tournament time! Go CARDS!!![/QUOTE]
I agree, the only thing I could see is that Euton had the ball and didn't want to foul him. Double teamed him, but he got the pass out. Agree on making us better.
Euton and G-Lawn both shoot near 80 percent from the foul line. I think Coach H was wanting to get Jackson or Manning on the foul line late. Both those guys are 60 percent FT shooters. Sometimes even the best laid plans come up short.

Yes, Clark can play with anybody in the state but is that good enough. You have to beat the best teams in the state in order to get to play on a Saturday night in March. The boys mental state has to be we can win just not play with them.
GRC may be one more ballhandler away from being able to win the State. If that comes along in the next month then the Cards are gonna be a tough out.
-
If GRC can handle the Run and Jump of the Cards, then they should be able to get some good looks. With the size of both teams, it would not surprise me to see both teams limit the gambling defenses and settle into a battle around the glass.
-
After seeing Scott County play a few times I get a feeling that something is missing with this talented team. Not sure what it is, the talent is there, but the chemistry seems lacking. I think GRC wins this game at home. GRC 77 Scott County 68.
-
No don't think so, Cards are just playing great ball right now. Our JV played most of 3rd quarter and all of 4th.
Billy Hicks was at the game scouting.
No doubt Coach Hicks will do his homework. Nice win for the Cards.

GRC starts the game on a 11-2 run and didn't look back. GRC out rebounded the Tomcats 53-25. Zollo had 10 and Purvis had 8, didn't get the others.
Cards looking better each game. Very unselfish play, with 18 assists. So glad to see Bopper Stenzel finally make it to the hardwood this year. He has been out all season with a knee injury. Vancleve came in off the bench and had a great game. Daniels also looked very good tonight on both ends of the court.
Scoring:
GRC
Zollo 26
Stenzel 11
Purvis 7
Kindred 5
Daniels 18
Cory Rogers 14
Fatkin 3
Vancleve 6
Charlie Rogers
Dini
Martin
Bopper Stenzel
Skinner
Ashland- Sorry I didn't get all of their scores.
Skaggs 9
Withrow 8
Wetzel 3
Greg 13
Delany 7
Smith 3
Forty point win. Is there an unknown rivalry between these two teams or coaches? I know Coach Biggs used to be in the 10th over at Pendleton County.

A little surprising. Yellowjackets will be making their first ever appearance in the All "A" state tournament. Williamsburg will face the winner of Danville-Burgin on Thursday night in Richmond.
Great Win for Coach Robinson and the Jackets. Best of luck against Danville in the All A Classic.
-
Lynn Camp vs Barbourville and Pineville vs Williamsburg.
Big prize for the small schools of the region. Who wins and why? Both games are rematches of early season games. Bville beat LC and Wburg beat Pville in the previous games.
-
I think he was in foul trouble. Only played 14 minutes according to Richmond paper.

I have fished in some of the lakes in the Deland area and also the St. John's river if anyone wants another outside opinion. I can even give you the name of a good guide in those areas if interested. Bubba.
