Oh yea, basketball season is about to begin. I can't wait for my first season in High School to start. It's going to be something! I have already went to like 2 or 3 girls middle school games. I just can't wait until my HCHS debut is started.Go Harrison!!!:jump:

Yea they are either gym rats or street rats. You always either see them in the gym or on the streets playin ball. That is definitly me lol. In fact i jus got back from outside runnin and shooting ball. It was 8:30 am too!!!!

Well coming from me, a freshmen Center for Harrison co. Me being only around 5 foot 11 and 200lbs. Yes i know i am short for a center as a freshmen but i play bigger than i am. But at the KBA MS 8th grade tourny we saw a lot of impressive centers coming from Highlands, Virgie, and Sebastion. So i aint going to lie. They were good. Although i held the big center for Sebastion to like 6 pts, and he was probably about 6 foot 2 or so and weighed probably about 210 or 220lbs. I average about 14-16 pts a game about 10 reb. a game, and maybe a couple blocks a game. So i dont know if i would be mentioned on this list because I have saw way better. Its your alls call! Tell me what you think?

Most ball players arent "taking a break" right now. They are either liftin weights every day or shootin every day working on moves that they will use during the upcoming season. But most stars don't ever take breaks during the off-season they are training for the next season. Because that is what i do.

Who all do you guys conside top 10 freshmen Centers in HS this year so far for pre-season? Lets See some names, heights and weights. Who do you think can beast the competition:fight:

Well coming from me since i dont play point, Harrison (my team) has maybe a couple good guards. Not so much as to top in the state as freshmen but very good though. I play starting Center/ Power forward so here is our teams guards.

G- 5''9' Jared Martin / good ball handling skills good shooter

G- 5''8 Drew Thompson / shoots the 3 ball good handles the ball well

those are our two best guards i believe. But most of our team are role players. They are best at one thing on the court.

I'll have to say this. I know two out of those players and one on there, i aint going to say any names but i held one of them to only 2 pts. when i guarded him and that's all he did for the rest of the game.

Yea Jim Mullins is a talented player as well from Harrison but he is on the Varcity. Lol

Although Harrison also has a good team i forgot to mention Matt Dye probably wouldnt play as a freshmen because of Hamstring problems but not to worry they have their 6th man Drew Thompson who can shoot the three and run the court like crazy.

Also Harrison freshmen seem to be looking good here is there line up

pg: Jared Martin - all around good shooter and can shoot the 3 good 5''8

sg: Matt Dye - can drill the 3 bout 5''5

sf: Malcolm Thomas - shoots good and gets to the basket 6''0

pf: Zack Turner - plays bigger than he is and beasts inside 6''0

C- Marcus Custard- can shoot and can beast inside too 6''2

You cant forget about Turner from Harrison co. He got tougher wen playing middle school basketball and he should definitly be on this list.He is about 6 foot even and weighs 200 but most of it looks like muscle. His numbers dont lie. He averaged about 16 to 18 points per game and he rebounded about 10 a game. So you cant leave him out. Plus this kid scored like 20 against Mason Co. If you get a chance watch this kid play. The only thing thats holding this kid back is his injury he had in his 8th grade year. Separated his growth plate but he should do better in high school. I expect a lot out of this kid!
