Dont put to much into this score alot of sophmores didnt play and they already have alot of varsity experince. I think that it is to early to judge next year's game because alot of things could happen in a year.

I think Paris can pull this one out. If so Raceland has another district Championship!

Denton is an awesome player and person. Tyler Boyles is also a great athlete and so is John-Scott Carver. Raceland has a pretty good sophmore class.

I have to go with the tomcats on this one. They have been playing pretty well here lately!

After a shaky game against a sub par Greenup team the rams are doubting just how good they are and let this slip from their hands. Gonna have to go agianst my Rams here.

I dont think that the rams are doubting at all! I dont think you can call Greenup a sub par team either that was a rival game. In rival games records do not matter, its just hard nose football.

The rams are ready to make up for last year! I would have to say the rams got this one!

One more parade comment - it's a Raceland tradition. We have had parades for cheerleaders returning from camp, JFL wins, Academic meets, Vacation Bible School graduations, and KUNA elections. Aunt Bea would appreciate our small town celebrations for the kids in whom the community takes much pride. In the mid-90's I recall parades for nearly every on-the-road victory. Lots of fun & lots of community spirit!

I think the rams will come out on top even with out beach! Now dont get me wrong he will be missed but the rams looked pretty strong at Ashland and i think that the defense will pick up some of the slack and score a few and cause some turn overs.

If Ashland is really a contender for the regional title this season, the Tomcats will rout the Rams. Raceland may make a game of it for a half, but I will be shocked if the Rams manage to stay with Ashland for a whole game.

If u havent heard the rams are here to play this year! They keep Pikeville, who is ranked 9 in 1a, scoreless!!! Dont be suprised if the rams walk out with a W!!!

I have also talked to some raceland players and they all are saying the same thing!! They all say "Its a family" and "Its a pride thing"! I belive that these boys will go as far as they want to if they work hard and work our the mistakes! I think we will be suprised by the rams this season!

Good point. Doesn't Russell usually play Greenup County? Perhaps it's just a matter of county bragging rights. By the way, Raceland's facilities seem to be very good and it's surely a fun atmosphere.

Well from what i have heard the Greenup/Fairveiw scrimmage looked like a jfl game! This is not first hand though i just heard it from a few people that were there! I think Greenup has a lot potential but the attitude surronding this program after a 1-9 season is not very good! I think that Greenup has a great coach and that they could do alot if the players bought into what him and his coaching staff are teaching!

Like i said earlier Raceland has been trying to make this game happen for years! Its not Raceland who keeps turning it down its Russell! Abd for Racelands facilities they are improving ever so slowly! Rumor is that they are going to be getting a new press box and other things needed to up date the feild in the next couple of years!

I know for a fact that Raceland has been trying to get this game for years and Russell keeps turning it down! I think this game would be a wonderful both schools! They play in basketball why not football! They would make a kiiling off the games to!

Coach Fannin has been there a few years and is very dedicated to the program! I think the new coaches you guys are thinking about are Greg Preston who coached at Boyd County last year, and Mark Lewis who coached at Ironton for over 30 years. Both of them are bringing alot to the program! Clint Thompson is also an outstanding player and a great young man out side of football! He is also a leader!!!

Raceland also has a great tradition of over 86 years of football!! The atmosphere is alot more supportive this year!! I have lived in the community all my life and I have never seen it like this!! Some sports writers are sayin this will be the best team in at least the last 10 years! If my memory serves me right, which I'm almost certian it does, Raceland has the winning record against the Tomcats over the years.

The Rams are working really hard and the 11 members of the coaching staff have all helped improve the Rams from last season! They also had an awesome off season in the weight room! I think that there will be a lot of surprised people come the Ashland game! They are really coming together as a team! The atmosphere in the community is awesome which also plays a big part in the future of this years season.
