I'm sure a lot of people thought U of L would give an absolute massacre to UK too after last years game.
Your comparing UofL to LSU , are you serious?
-
Haven't they tried to change offensive schemes a couple of times this year? What are they trying to do running a variation of the option with all that team speed? Shouldn't they be spreading teams out and letting their guys run? This team should be better.
Dont' try and tell some people that. You'll get one of these pointless :argue: They, FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON, think that what they are doing now works.
-
Looks good. They SHOULD beat both UGA and UT but it's going to be tough.
Sure. After getting handled in Columbia, I seriously doubt they Should beat UGA and the real UT.
-
I think he is still a number 1 pick. What has he himself done to make anyone think otherwise?
-
Absolute Massacre like last year.
-
Shawne Lewis of Woodford County would give anyone a run for their money in 5A
Or the state for that matter. This kid was almost a one man team last year.
-
It was the same offense...not the same team...not even close.
Why do you think the team was different? USC sometimes gets the bighead. That's probably why they lost to Stanford
-
Did he not play against those same schools last year...when all he did was have one of the best TD to INT ratios in the nation.
Last year is over with. By the way, LSU blanked UK last year.
-
Florida Atlantic gave USF all they wanted, ... Arkansas at Arkansas, .... UL when they were ranked and thought to be a national title contender. Cupcakes?
I agree this is not just a challenge, it's a brutal stretch for ANY team, much less a team you despise.
As far as Woodson, he will be fine. The 2 fumbles and 1 INT were costly, but his performance outside of that was not too bad, and that was against the #1 pass defense in the country. Much to your chagrin, ,,, Andre will be fine.
His performance outside of that. What a statement!
-
The honeymoon ended Thursday night? So now Woodson won't play as good as he has up until this point? I don't see how you see that. EKU and Kent State are not the best teams in the nation but every team doesn't play a insane schedule. FAU just gave USF all they could handle. UK will do good from here on out and they may surprise some people, and Woodson won't let them down.
We'll see. The schedule just got to an insane level and so far Woodson isn't passing, or at least all that well.
-
They do appear to have speed and talent, but who is going to throw it?
Thats the part where coaching comes in. No kid comes out of middle school, especially in Fayette Co. ready to be a Varsity level passer. They have a pretty good QB coach on staff. It's all about what they are willing to do. Leaving the nest a little bit. The tools are in place, they just has to use them right.
-
I always knew Sphire wanted to wear RED and BLACK!
-
Dunbar really needs to take a look at a different offensive system than the one they have in place right now. They have speed and talent, but their style of play keeps alot of it from being used. Bright Horizon, you said what I've been saying since last year. The Offense that worked at East in the weak district they were in will not work that well in Lexington.
-
UK isn't going to beat LSU anyways.
-
The first team that UK played that actually had a defense, Woodson played as bad as he has all year, having three TO's himself....Forgive me if I MIGHT think he could struggle the rest of the year against similar defenses....I thought it made sense. :creepy:
I can definately see Woodson dropping off. Especially in the next 2 weeks. The honeymoon ended Thursday night. The cupcake teams are already beaten. Now for UK, the challenges are here. So far, not so good.
-
No logic to back it up...USC's '04 was clearly better than it's '05 group and Texas barely beat that team.
It was the same team. Texas just got better in 1 year.
-
MC by at least 2 scores.

Teams
1. 2004 USC
2. 2005 Texas
3. 2005 USC
4. 2004 Auburn
5. 2001 Miami
6. 2003 LSU
Players
1. Vince Young, QB, Texas
2. Reggie Bush, RB, Southern Cal
3. Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
4. Michael Vick, QB, Virginia Tech
5. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Pittsburgh
6. Willis McGahee, RB, Miami
7. Carson Palmer, QB, Southern Cal
8. LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, TCU
9. Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
10. Matt Leinart, QB, Southern Cal
11. Ed Reed, S, Miami
12. Tommie Harris, DT, Oklahoma
Ilike your list, except I would put '05 Texas over '04 USC.

How do you see that? Do you not remember the Vols 31-45 loss to Call? or how about the 20-59 loss to Florida? UT will have their hands full with UK the Vols better not take them easy because if they do then they will be the ones getting spanked.
I am sure U of L will have their hands full with every team left on their schedule :thumb:
UK does not even come close to being a CAL or UF. The speed and talent levels are completely different.
-
Just like they spanked them last year in Knoxville? Oh wait, UK could have won that one if not for the error and taking a delay of game penalty. And UK is better than last year. I wouldn't bet on either UK or UT spanking the other one right now.
South Carolina barely beat UK last year too. "And UK is better than last year". Sure
-
Why would Brohm be a lock and Woodson not be?
Brohm is better. Won a BCS game. Better career. Take your pick.
-
-
UT is now number 25. They are going to spank UK in Lexington.
-
Very true. Dunbar got blasted. Henry Clay's JV scored twice. Things are really that bad. By the way, they now run option off of fullback trap and dive.

#22 for Boone Co. also deserves mentioning.
