  1. I am new to the site but I have a vested interest in PLD football. Looking back at some of the threads throughout the year I have noticed that you seem to be all over PLD's coaches when they get beat. However, when they win a huge game (this one) you seem to have a back handed compliment to give them like the one above. I understand you have something against the PLD staff, it’s obvious, but just remember that this is a public forum and kids read what you have to say about their coaches as well. This was a huge win for PLD, good luck next week guys.

Stretch, I agree. If you can't throw the ball any better than that, don't!

Come on Chair. Yes, you're obviously new so you haven't seen the excuses as to why they have been losing so much over the past 2 years. You've obviously developed your own opinion without all of the facts, so I won't really say too much about what your post says. Stay tuned buddy, you might find out that you're waaaaaaayy off.

  2. UK has had more than enough balance this year. Can't say the same for the Cards.

If UK threw the ball as many times as Louisville does, they'd have at least 2 more loses. Balance works very well for this team. The South Carolina and LSU games show this to be true.

  3. You haven't watched much UK football during Little's career, that is very clear.

Also, what exactly do you have the inside scoop on?

Dixon has been hurt and now fumbles all the time. That's primarily the reason Little kept his job.

I have the inside scoop on, well pm me.

  4. I think Les Miles is OVERRATED! I said it when LSU hired him and I'll say it now...they're stupid for not going hard after Bobby Petrino. I group Les Miles in the same class with Lloyd Carr...you can't spell Les MiLes without 2 L's. He has as much talent as anyone in college football and he always finds ways to lose a couple of games...look at last year. He had the #1 overall pick at QB, the #6 pick at safety, and two WR's who were drafted in round one...not to mention all the talent they currently have and they scored a combined 13 points in games against Auburn and Florida. The guy isn't that good and if Michigan sends Lloyd Carr packing so they can get Les Miles, nothing will change...they'll still underachieve.

Why should Miles get so much credit when he can't even win the SEC with all that talent? He lucked out last week and converted a hand full of first downs or LSU would have taken their second loss tonight....they'll lose at least two more games before this season is over...write that down...they'll have a hard time beating Auburn next week.

I completely agree with you. I don't see this team as a BCS team.

  5. That's the past brother. This isn't the UK teams of the past. UT better watch out. And yes, I said run all over. But I guess since Little is "overrated" the UT D will shut him down? Yeah right.

Well we'll see. This isn't the UK teams of the past. Like that matters. LSU couldn't complete a pass at all, unless it was a swing. I seriously doubt you'll see a one-dimensional VOLS team on Nov.24. What do you think the UT trio of backs are gonna do to UK? UK is not very good at stopping the run.

  6. Little is a GREAT back. It's plain DUMB to say otherwise. And your right again, Dorsey is very very far from overrated. When he is in the NFL making millions we will all see that.

Good back, not great. Dixon without the fumble virus is better. Dorsey will make millions, but he is clearly not even the best player on their roster. By the way, quite a few UK Wildcats agree also on both points. Let's just say I have an inside scoop.

  7. Once UK plays UT you will find out how Little isn't overrated. He should run all over that defense and maybe then, you will see :thumb:

You're kidding right? Run all over UT. Yeah, that's what has happened the past what 23 years? By the way, UT can run and throw.

  8. I will give UK a little respect here and say GREAT WIN.

1.UK needs to get off the whole Woodson for Heisman thing and call their plays 50 pass/ 50 run. When they start trying to pass almost every down, they get into trouble. Woodson is a preety good game manager at QB.

2.Find someone else to play for Burton right now, he's obviously hurting.

3.UK does not need Little. Personally, I think he's quite a bit overrated and if Dixon could hold on to the ball, he could easily be the starter.

4.The offensive line is either way better than I expected, or Glen Dorsey is one of the most OVERRATED D-lineman ever!

Again, great win for Kentucky. I still think UT will win.

  9. Here's my thing with Bush and that argument, and I certainly could be wrong, but this is what I think. I'll try to say this as clear as possible, if I can.

There are several factors that have contributed to this:

Running Backs need to get consistent touches to find their groove. Bush hasn't had that. The Saints have used that mantra since he got there that he isn't a between the tackles guy. They gave Deuce the bulk of the carries and tried to use Reggie on swing passes, draws, screens, etc...IMO, they basically limited his uses and made it easier for teams to defend him. It also, IMO, put more pressure on Bush to try to make something big happen every time he got the ball because he knew his touches were going to be limited. I think with Deuce out and assuming Payton uses Bush like a feature back, we should get to see how good he can be. Now he's going to get 25+ touches a game...he can be more patient because he knows they're going to keep feeding him the ball instead of having to wonder when he'll get it again.

You may be right that he isn't that good. I just don't think he's had a fair chance to show that because the Saints have limited his touches and how they've used him. I think they should try to use him like Marshall Faulk with the Rams. Personally, I think Bush is going to be a special player if he gets a chance to be a feature back and he's used correctly. He's not going to be a Larry Johnson pound it between the tackles 30 times, but he can be a guy who can run between the tackles successfully, and enough to make defenses respect that option and open things up elsewhere for him.

I think he'll be in a process of finding his groove as a feature RB in the NFL and the Saints are also learning how the best way to utilize him in that role. They need look no further than Westbrook in Philly and Faulk in St. Louis, IMO. Reggie can be that guy if given the proper chance.

Bush just needs to either bulk up quite a bit or switch to WR, DB. If neither, I don't see him in the league as a significant player after 5 years.
