There was a record attendance set tonight for a high school game on a Thur. night almost 22,000. WOW

Ferguson was very strong in the first half. But AC closed him down somewhat in the second, but the Faulkners really picked it up in the second and held on to the win.

Well folks, you can't make up something like this. I heard a lady on a radio show in Eastern Kentucky this morning that says Jesus has told her that Billy Gillispie will indeed be fired and our next Kentucky coach will be Pat Riley. Apparently, He is a big basketball fan and has been sending this lady "signs."

 

I don't even know what to say about this really, but I heard it with my own ears and she wasn't kidding around.

There would really be some intense, meaningful NIT games if they were playing for one of those 4 slots.

Yeah, they would be worn out, but they would at least have an opportunity. I'm not sure there could ever a week-long delay, but its fun to discuss.

 

I'm interested to see who the NIT final four will be and then it'll be fun to see where we could've plugged them into the NCAA under my plan.

Yeah giving them an opportunity is good and also giving the NIT more meaning is good. Its an interesting plan.

Thats an interesting plan. The problems I see with it is just the long delay for the NCAA teams and the 4 teams that do make it from the NIT are going to be wore out compared to the others. They will look like Syacruse when they were trying to play Louisville in the second half.

I'll be there in section TT.

 

There may never be another chance to see UK in Memorial, I'm not passing it up. Should be a great atmosphere.
