Really I went there last year before transfering to UK and Transy is so layed back about things I can't believe that they are doing this.

As a non-smoker, I like it.

I agree with this but they should atleast have the ability to outside. I mean I hate smoke but just as long as its not in a building I can put up with it. And I can understand the medical part of campus being tobacco free which it already is, and that's fine. But this is Kentucky we are tobacco atleast we use to be there shouldnt ban it outside. And smokeless tobacco shouldn't be banned either it does nothing to others, if its your choice to do it. I understand the fact that you really can't just pick which tobacco products to ban but come on.

I was reading the KY Kernel today and there was another article about this going in effect I think November 19th. Just wondering what some of the opinions were out there. I don't use tobacco, and I can understand how the smoking can create problems for those of us that don't smoke. But what I don't understand is what is the need to banning the smokeless tobacco, there is no second-hand chew or anything. Just like to hear from all of you out there.:thumb:
