Does anyone know if the CW or WKYT will be having the game, I don't have ESPNU either.
-
Still haven't watched it and will missed it tomorrow.
Yeah me too....I watch PTI every day, I guess I'll miss it tomorrow.
-
Just wondering......Did anyone else change the channel so they didn't have to watch the first part of sportscenter or was that just me?
-
Just honest as usual. UK is LOADED, but they took the nigh off against the front runner for SEC POY and paid for it...

It's hard for me to say this but I guess this is good in the long run. The young boys need to lose, but it's very very disappointing right now. Plus going over to campus tomorrow is not going to be fun it's going to be so down over there.

:lol::lol: Welcome to the site Hubert Davis. Be sure and stop by the Rules page to familiarize yourself with the way we do things here at BGP.

I am SO glad that this came from a female! I would have worried if a man had responded with this.
What happended to;
1. Order Pizza
2. Buy cheap lingere,(It shouldn't be on long enough to warrant expensive)
3. Get some Beer
4. Rent a movie
Have a great night!

True. But they were not as good as the 1997 team or anywhere near the 1996 team talent wise. Even many of those who ranked them said it was based more on what the Cats had done the prior 2 seasons not truly on what talent was left on the team.
:thumb: The 96 team can be put on a list of best college basketball teams ever. And the 97 team was better than the 98 team IMO.

Its a good point to be made but Wall has a closer mentality that others don't have. There is another stat...17-0.......13-2

I think I know who you're talking about. Was he experimenting with the long putter at that time? I know he's back to the shorter one now.
Yah the long putter got alittle tune up if you know what I mean lol

Lowest score I've shot is 62 at Cynthiana CC.
Best round I've ever had was 71 at Old Silo in a US Open Local Qualifier.
Thats easy when your a member. Too bad the big guy with the socks shot 72.:sssh:

Nice round. That's where I play all the time, what was that about 3 years ago that qualifier.

I watched both Kansas and Texas play today and my rankings would be Texas as number one (they are a very talented team) then Kentucky and Kansas third or maybe even Syracuse third they are a tough bunch of boys too.

They did all they could to make up for a mess of a situation. I was a crazy ending, and if it was UC I'd be furious about how it played out, but after watching the video a few times the stripes used what they had in place to make the right call.
There isn't a coach in the country that would be OK walking off the court after that, but in the end I didn't see anything to blame on the refs other than the clock operator putting them in a tough spot...
I agree the refs were in a tough spot but it just doesn't seem right that they should have ended it this way. If that happened in a UK game and UK was Xavier those refs would have to be put in witness protection.

Just got back from Hinkle. Great old facility. Barn-like.
I was at the entrance to the X lockerroom during the fiasco at the end and when X came off of the floor. To paraphrase Coach Mack as he was entering the lockerroom "this is a high school operation" give or take a few words.
It was worse than a high school operation. While they were taking 30 min to decide the call I timed how long the clock stayed at 14.7 and it was like 1.3 seconds give or take a few tenths. But I don't feel like they should have just erased the 1.2 seconds off the clock and end the game. That last second should have been allowed to been played out. Honestly if the clock hadn't paused there really is no telling how much time would have been left but I don't think just ending the game is the right call. But this was a horribly officiated game period.

That won't be enough to keep him if UL wants him.
:thumb: Agreed

This will be a great hire of UoL. Who else might get it if he doesnt?

He is having Freshman pains of adjusting mentally to college basketball. He is a very emotional player, I don't see this as having a attitude problem. Coach Cal is working with him on the mental aspect....will just take time.
I agree 100% with this. I think when he gets his mental game under control, which will happen with time, he is going to be one heck of a player.

Which game was that?
Sam Houston St. I'm 90% sure. I remember Dicky was loving it, he milked every second out of it that he could.

Move on young man. Welcome to the real world. Whether or not they cheated is irrelevant. When you enter the Rat Race for good, it won't take you long to realize that life's not fair...And if you try to Rat out everyone that gets what you think is special treatment, you're in for a long miserable life.

Retire Jerseys

I was thinking with UNC retiring Hansbourgh's jersey tonight, who will be the next at UK to have there name hung up. With the great players coming for a couple of years and leaving its hard to put people up there. The only couple I can think of maybe in the past 5-10 years or so is Prince and Patterson maybe.
