No disrespect, but Landon Slone should at least be in the top 4...He is the best talent to come out of eastern Kentucky in 10-12 years.

Can you buy my lottery tickets?

I was just refering to jumping ability and athleticism, and I was referring to Bradley as a HS senior compared to Henderson as a HS Senior. I know how strong and how quick Bradley is, quiet possibley one of the quickest players in UK history and nearly impossible to guard. But know harm ment. I have alot of respect for Ramel's game.More athletic than Ramel. Have you ever played with Ramel? I have. You dont realize how athletic and how great these guys handle the ball just watching them, you need to play with them. I find it very hard to believe any high school kid is more athletic than a first team SEC PG. -
What about the following teams:
Jeffersontown
Greenwood
Central
Lincoln Co
Shelby County
South Laurel
Hazard
Bardstown
Owensboro
I'm sure those teams have a star or two otherwise they wouldn't be here.
Someone I forgot:
Tiglhman- Stefon Perry
Jeffersontown-Nick Gagel
Greenwood-Dee Anderson
Central-??
Lincoln Co-Ryan Young,Noah Keeton
Shelby County-Coty Minus
South Laurel-Matt St. John
Hazard-Josh Whitaker,Michael Campbell
Bardstown-Jordan Hickman,Corey Hall
Owensboro-Brock Moorman
Painstville-Landon Slone,Shane Grimm

I'm Just saying that if Stepp can walk on there he should at least get a look. Maybe he couldn't play in the SEC but he's better than some players who will be.I think Arrez is a great great player... It's questionable whether he'd be able to play at UK however... -
I don't understand why Kentucky looks at a player like Clark Stepp who couldn't make the team at alot of these big name high schools across the state, seriously, and gives him a spot on the team. Yet you have Henderson and more athletic Ramel Bradley type player who COULD play in the SEC and he dosent even get a look fron Kentucky. Alot of politics is what it is or at least what it seems to be.

Since alot of coaches will be scouting for talent in Rupp next week I figured I post my top 15 players in the sweet 16 as well as give other members an oppertunity to share who they feel are to players to look for in the tourney.

7.Johnathan Fergason-Elliott Co
8.Ryan Young-Lincoln Co.
9.Taylor Stewart-Lexington Catholic

Yeah I know what you were saying and that is a very good point.:thumb:Hey no problem with that my man. Just stating Holmes length will give Bardstown a lot of problems. I think we'll see a similar type of game as last year againt Tiglhman from Holmes with the winning margin being a little bit more than 9. -
I was just stating that it'd be an exciting matchup from a fans standpoint, I know Holmes will put on a show. I actually picked Holmes to win it all.I'm sure Bardstown is good but there's a reason these Holmes seniors are making their third trip to Rupp in 4 years. If you don't think experience is going to play a huge roll in this game, you're sadly mistaken. Also looking at B-town's roster, they aren't very big and will struggle with Holmes length. Holmes goes ten deep with their heighth looking like this:
Starters
Braeon Avery PG 5'10
Arrez Henderson G 6'1
Jeremiah Johnson G/F 6'4
Ricardo Johnson G/F 6'5
Terrence Clark C/F 6'4
Role Players
Elijah Pittman G/F 6'5
Todd Humphrey F 6'5
Josh Nelson F/C 6'4
Jamel Riley PG 6'
Dom Johnson G/F 6'2
When Henderson isn't in Holmes will likely have 4 6'4 guys on the floor who are G/F.
As far as Bardstown being the most athletic team Holmes has seen, I think Male is just as athletic if not more athletic than Bardstown.
Bardstown will be overwhelmed when they see Holmes. Their press and defense will cause B'town fits.

ESPNGUY......I had Paducah Tilghman nocking of Mason County in the 2nd round.
-
The Holmes bulldogs are my pick, but after filling out my bracket I somehow had them matched up with Lincoln County in the championship which was a suprise even to me. I looked at every matchup differently and thats what I came up with.
-
I'm taking Elliott County 77-73 in the upset of the tourney and be that sleeper team that I believe they can be.
I'm always for the 14th and 16th when there not playing the 15th...lol
-
No that was actually ment to be 380...misprint lolIs Kenny George really 480 pounds?:scared: -
Auburn 80/1 lets face it, its not likely they win the sec tournament but these odds are kinda funny. Auburn has the Talent to play a Cinderalla role so to seak in the SEC, unlikely yes but not 80/1 unlikely...lol

Thoughts and Predictions. How will JTown contain Slone? How will Paintsville be able to match up with this athletic JTown team?
I think Paintsville has to be favored in this game IMO. But will be overlooked somewhat.
-
I agree just meaning from an entertainment standpoint Dunks,Defense,quickness...etcBest 1st round game is LexCath and UHA.Also the Paintsville-Jtown matchup should be very interesting.
-
Holmes being as athletic as they are could have problems with this team basically because Holmes is used to overwelming teams with their athleticism but this Bardstown team could be the most athletic team Holmes has faced all season. Imo but I still favor Holmes in this game. Could be the best 1st rd. game to watch due to the fact that both teams have tremondous athletes which makes for a fun game to watch.
-
No disrespect intended but Hazard will kill SL. I'll say Hazard by 20-25.
-
Elliott Could be the sleeper in the stat tourney if they get there.
